Beer Baron
Did anyone watch this?? I thought it was interesting to see some of the history behind the beer
Otto Von Blotto
If it's on Foxtel then no. Don't have it and never will
Beer Baron
I would sell my kids to get Foxtel back but no it is on the Food Network on free to air
Otto Von Blotto
There's never anything much on it of interest to me so it wouldn't be worth it, anyway our TV antenna is stuffed so can't even get free to air, not that there's much worth watching on there either. It's either lame cooking, renovation shows or stupid contrived dating shit

It's either lame cooking, renovation shows or stupid contrived dating shit I agree Kelsey. This pathetic, cheap shit, reality TV dribble I've had an absolute gutful of TBQH. I find myself watching more & more programs on the ABC these days. It's funny about that, many years ago I always looked at the ABC as an "old persons" TV channel. It's nice to see they've taken a "younger" approach in recent years. Cheers, Lusty.
Beer Baron
I don’t watch too much TV but I do love my sport. My missus loves all of the reality crap
Otto Von Blotto
I definitely like my sport, so I'm missing that at the moment but we'll be gone from here next year so I'm happy to wait it out. I only ever watch the cricket and AFL anyway though
Beer Baron
I love my football, league, AFL and MMA

They are taking a younger approach, less of 'murder' mystery shows, or you have got older Beerlust. I would say the latter cause I am doing the same thing.. between hit shows like Batchy and My house block's. ABC is getting hammered in our household
Otto Von Blotto
I've never liked "reality" TV since it has existed. We have Netflix and Stan, plenty of stuff on there that we do like minus sport obviously.
RepSpec
if you have free to air tv then its on SBS food network. I caught the 1st couple of episodes and it was great... He is traveling america showing off the craft scene... 1 episode showed some guys who were creating their own strains of yeast to go into local beers...quite interesting The guy is a wine guy with a huge knowledge and interest in beer and knows his stuff. Pommy bloke, so not as over the top as most american "food show presenters". He presents really well.
Hoppy81
You can watch it online, https://www.sbs.com.au/ondemand/program/olly-smith-ale-trails
Otto Von Blotto
All crap TV bashing aside it does sound like an interesting show. I might give it a watch on the laptop next brew day or bacon smoking day, since that usually sits out on the deck during those for music.
Hoppy81
I just watched the 4 episodes that are online. It is a pretty good show, definitely worth a watch. Cheers, Hoppy
