EWildcat7
Hello I am about to start my first brewing batch. But before I do, I was looking ahead to cleaning up the bottles after I am finished. I have the basic Coopers kit with 30 740 ml bottles. I was looking on Amazon and found the following: https://www.amazon.com/FastRack-Bottle-Drying-Rack-Tray/dp/B00G19AFOK/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1534573229&sr=8-4&keywords=homebrew%2Bbottle%2Bdrying%2Brack&th=1 Since this is intended for US bottles, will it work with my bottles? If so, does anybody know which type of rack I should get? thank you!
Titan
I would say it will work ok. But as stated in the description "Bottle Drying Tree alternative" not sure on cost comparison between the 2 systems.
Fergy1987
If you do end up getting this, can you let us know if they do fit with the PET bottles. My only concern is if they would actually be able to stack, or that the neck on the PET isnt long enough.
Otto Von Blotto
I'm not sure about the stacking, the water or whatever from the above bottles would just drain all over the lower ones. I made my own out of an old wine rack and two pieces of timber, drilled (or cut) 24 holes in each one then varnished them and attached to the wine rack. It was a bit of a waste of time really, a few months later I started kegging
porschemad911
They are great, although I don't stack as I only need one for my 11l batch size. And Fergy, after double checking, the PETs are fine. I even put my 6l Tap-a-draft bottles in there to drain. Cheers, John
