Besides that, different beer styles have their optimal mash pH level, there isn't really a one size fits all and if there is it would be in the middle, not the low end at 5.2. Beerlust Posted August 17, 2018 Share Posted August 17, 2018 I bought a small amount of this stuff on the back of Chad's recommendations to try & solve an issue I was having at the time. I think I used it once or twice. The remainder is still sitting there on the shelf. I found testing cumbersome & admit mine was somewhat flawed so I gave up on the whole idea. Cheers, Lusty.
