karlos_1984
Hey guys. I've got a Cooper's APA (21 ltrs) which I pitched 2 X kit yeasts (rehydrated) into and added a 50g dry hop after FG. When I dry hopped, there looked to be little brown spots of yeast still sitting on top. I dry hopped for 5 days and it's been cold crashing for about a week now. The little spots of yeast and some hop matter is still sitting on top and won't drop. Is this anything to worry about? I'll transfer to a secondary before bottling and will catch it with a sterile grain bag anyway. But this is only the 2nd time dry hopping commando and cold crashing. I thought it should all drop eventually but hasn't happened either time for me. .
Hairy
Sounds fine. Even after cold crashing you still sometimes get some yeast clumps on top. I wouldn’t bother transferring to secondary and just bottle it from primary. If you don’t disturb it, the yeast will sit on top and won’t get into the bottles until you try to get the last bit of liquid.
