Henry1525229471
Looking for a recipe for a smertos golden ale all grain for a 23ltr brew using a robobrew. Thanks Henry
The Captain!!
Here’s my 40l BIAB recipe, you could adjust yours by percentages also the original has Pilsner as the base not B.B. pale malt. Also use Cara bohemian instead of cararoma Captain
Henry1525229471
Thanks Captain, I will probably have to use caraoma I doubt that I can get bohemian where I live.
The Captain!!
You could use any crystal really. The reason that ingredient in there is that it was the closest to Cara bohemian in colour. I think.
Otto Von Blotto
Carabohemian is closer to a medium crystal malt. Dark crystal would be closer to Caraaroma. If you can't get those grains a medium crystal will work fine. PS, you'll only have to adjust the recipe by two litres. It might be a 40 litre urn but the batch is only

King Ruddager
I've used enough different ones now though, but I'm not the kind of person that can easily distinguish flavours I think

Its a robust recipe mate so don’t worry too much about smacking it on the nose the first time. Kirk

Henry1525229471
Sorry to bother you again Dozer71 but do you also have a chart for yeast, I went to buy a packet of WLP001 but the brew shop doesn't stock it so I got US05 instead I really don't know if it,s similar or not. Otto Von Blotto
US-05 is the same strain as WLP001 and W 1056.
