Hairy
If you were taking a punt then you would say it is finished, but that would be a guess. Are you bottling in plastic or glass? If plastic then you will be able to easily de-gas them if needed. If glass, I would wait for the hydrometer.
The Captain!!
Wait for the hydrometer. Don’t risk bottle bombs
Otto Von Blotto
I'd wait for the hydrometer too, it won't hurt the beer to sit in the fermenter for a bit longer anyway, and will probably improve it a bit more than bottling it as soon as it's finished fermenting. Otto Von Blotto
Too high, it should come down another 8-10 points. Try raising the temp a few degrees because it should have been finished by now.

Try raising the temp a few degrees because it should have been finished by now. There is 200g Maltodextrin in BE3. I would think that won't fully ferment out and leave it slightly higher 1.010? The time I did the Irish Stout to 23 liters it stopped at 1.015 and wouldn't move.
Otto Von Blotto
Perhaps, but it should still drop lower than 1.020. maybe 1.012-1.015 range.
Boot Straps
MSB, I did a stout 2 weeks ago, OG was 1.051 23 ltr at 21deg it has been reading 1.012 for the last few days, so I will be bottling this weekend. I would be aiming around those kind of figures if I was you.
Smitdog88
Keep in mind hydrometer feedings from the tap. First sample should be discarded. Then take your real sample. This gets rid of extra kick in the tap.
