Beer Baron
I am attempting to transfer my remains from a 19L keg into my 9.5L keg via a closed keg to keg transfer and wanted to make sure I will be doing it right. I want to minimise oxygen contact. 9.5L keg cleaned and sanitised (of course) and filled with co2 and purged a few times to remove oxygen and then remove gas (grey) disconnect. Attached a jumper line to both liquid out posts. My jumper line consists of 1 metre of beer line with a liquid (black) disconnect on each end. Attach co2 disconnect to 19L keg and apply just enough pressure to make the beer flow but it shouldn’t yet because of the pressure in the 9.5L keg. Release pressure in 9.5L keg by pulling keg pin or attaching a gas (grey) disconnect to the gas post without any line on the end. How does this sound?? Titan
Hey mate as soon as you connect the 2 together the pressure will equalise. However your process seem to be spot on.
