Original series $11

International $13

Coopers Store, as usual:

Thomas Cooper range $17.96

I expect members would have been notified but anyway, the free postage for orders over $80 is on again. Ends 22 Feb.

I'm taking a break from brewing over hot Jan/Feb, so haven't been keeping track of what the stores are doing.

Nice find Marvin.

While I love a bargain more than anyone I tend to go to my local health food store.

He doesn't have sales, but his prices are very good.

Plus he's a nice bloke and I'm helping the local bloke instead of a huge company.

Even though I do own shares in Woolworths, who own Dan's.

Great find Marvin,

I've already availed myself of the Coopers website's free delivery offer.  But might have to wander down to Big W this weekend to stock up.

Cheers Shamus

This isn't Coopers but I'm not going to start a thread for it.

Labels possibly useful for bottles

Big W are doing there 20% off thing again.

https://www.bigw.com.au/search/?text=coopers&category=

Original series $11.20

International $12.80

Thomas Cooper $18.40

Other Coopers stuff also 20% off.

As most would know coopers are doing free delivery for orders over $100 until next Tuesday 23/10.

You're better off going to Big W unless you're after Thomas Cooper series, malt extract or prefer it delivered I suppose.

Here in the UK Coopers kits generally sell for between £11 and £15. Which at the exchange rate is around $22 to $30 a can. But they are considered good value. Your International and Original range cans seem insanely cheap. What's a bit odd is that over here the tbree ranges dont vary much in price.  The TC cans are often the same price as the ofhers, or just a pound more.

That's marketing in action I think.

Some people live by the "you get what you pay for" credo.

So if they pay more they think they get more and they feel cosy.

Some people are cynics or cheap bastards and are never going to pay no premium.

The marketing department in their beneficence delivers for all.

I picked up a couple Cerveza's yesterday in Woolies.
Discontinued, but in date until April 2020.
Also Coopers Brewing Sugar was discounted too.

Central Coast by the way

Might be discontinuing them nation wide as I noticed they were also $6.30 this morning at my local Woolies in central Victoria.

Being a fan of lawnmower type beers and with summer coming on I lashed out and bought six cans.

One can had an April 2020 use by date, the other five cans being August 2020.

Is the cervesa kit just being discontinued as an item stocked by Woolies, or discontinued by Cooper's altogether?

I might grab a couple for some experimenting with CCA yeast. Want to try and clone the session ale and this kit is a bit lighter than the APA can so should work nicely with a galaxy hop

Actually kits over here just seem to be more expensive than Australia. I don't think there are any beer kits here on sale at regular prices for under £10 now, $20. The Coopers are at the cheap end. The English kits cost as much or more.

Rip-off Britain.  ? ?
