I used to use the old school FV taps in my old cubes which wasn't much different though. If they're HDPE they should be fine. The one fattima posted is the same as the ones I use for storing distilled water for pilsner batches. They are HDPE. Mine are blue though. The square shape ones I use for no-chilling I get from camping stores, because they are the same white/opaque plastic.
