larryc Posted April 27, 2010 Share Posted April 27, 2010 hello to all. just put together my first homebrew. got a coopers micro brew kit for my bday. hope it goes well. will let you know how it turns out. if all goes well my next brew will be a dark ale which has been a favourite of mine especially during the colder weather, at the moment i am doing a lager which came with the kit . (holiday long overdue). took a reading this morning S.G at 1020 after 3 days - 1 night at a steady 24c. the head on the beer in the tube made me want to drink it straight away. my next brew will be a coopers dark ale but ime a bit confused as to what brew sugar to use, dextrose, brew enhancer 1 or 2, light dry malt ect ect.( tell ime a newbie hey) any help greatly apreciated.
