  1. bloody legend ! thanks so much for the update. brilliant resource, thank you.
  2. Thanks Shamus. I reckon you are onto something in adding "something" to maintain the body. That and what @Pickles Jones said will be my experiment for the coming lock-down weekend. Thank you.
  3. Thanks Pickles ... a juggling act it is indeed ... breaking down the recipe to identify the fermentable sugars is a great suggestion ... not sure why I hadn't thought of that myself (esp as I have to watch/manage my sugars all the time anyway!).

  5. Hi brewers. Apologies if this has been asked before ... I've been making & loving some of the Coopers recipes. Trouble is (don't laugh), they are coming out too strong for me (ABV) even though they taste excellent. Most recent example is Downhill White IPA. Great beer - and whilst it is supposed to be strong, the alcohol content is too high for me. Anybody got any ideas how I could attempt to replicate the taste/mouthfeel/head etc, but reduce the alcohol content? If I could get it to 5% or less I would be ecstatic. Just want to be able to drink more than 2 or 3 schooners before falling asleep! Thanks in advance legends!
