Fast carbed a 2L soft drink bottle this arvo; 90% Voyager Atlas, 10% Flaked Rice, Tettnanger @60 &10 For 20 IBU, WLP 029 (Pitched at 16, held for 4 days then ramped up gradually to 20) OG 1044 FG 1008 Dry crisp finish. Loved It. Was great after a busy day. Will post a pic after I let it Lager for a few weeks. Will do again, next time with corn. Cheers, Dave.

  4. Hi captain, Notto low end of Temp range. Lager in keg under serving pressure for a month. I prefer Rice as an adjunct if your going down the adjunct path Good luck. Cheers Dave.
  5. @beerdeluxe +1 I enjoy a Carlton Draught. Never had a badly brewed one, taste is always consistent. As for an Aussie draught recipe, Try the fresh draught recipe and sub POR hops in for the cascade. It will get you there. Cheers, Dave.
  6. Dark beer time. Used SteveL's EB Porter as inspiration. Good on you @SteveL EB rye Porter EB can, 1.5 Kg Gladfields Ale malt, 0.5kg Rye malt, 0.3Kg Chocolate rye, 0.25Kg Crystal rye. 21 L, Notto @ ambient laundry temperature (low 20's). OG 1052. Nice brown colour. The Notto has taken off like a rocket at this temp. Life got in the way of packaging up the two brews that I have CC in the fermentation fridge, so doing this one the old fashioned way. Hopefully no fermentation off flavours will result. Notto is quite forgiving though in my experience. Cheers, Dave
  7. Raspberry sour MJ's Sour Ale pouch, 0.5kg Wheat DME, 0.5Kg raspberrys, Notto Yeast. Tart raspberry mouth watering flavour. This kit is great. Will definitely do again. Cheers, Dave.

  10. Cream Ale Gladdy Light Lager malt, Flaked Maize, Warrior to 18IBU, US-05. Lagered 3 weeks. Crisp dry finish. Boring as, but good after a big day on the tools. Cheers, Dave.

  14. What's NOT in your fermenter.............. PASSIONFRUIT BEER. I checked fermentation fridge earlier today and was hit in the face with a strong solvent smell. I don't believe it was due to the addition of the Passionfruit pulp. To be honest there was a slight hint of solvent at day 4 of fermentation when I added the fruit. The hydro sample was nail polish remover Most reading that I have done suggests a high fermentation temp as the cause. Not to sure in this case TIPPER Cheers, Dave
